Compliancy Services has developed an approved persons training programme for sale and rent back (SRB) firms currently getting their procedures in place for full authorisation.

The programme has been established specifically for those individuals who may never have endured the FSA senior management interview process to help ensure they are established as being fit and proper to undertake the role of an approved person within a fully authorised firm.

The specialist SRB arm of Compliancy Services was recently launched to aid SRB firms, many of whom have never previously been regulated, deal with the often complex and time-consuming requirements of achieving and maintaining FSA authorisation.

Claire Wilkinson, retail director at Compliancy Services, commented: “It is important for firms to remember that the approved persons regime applies to full authorisation and senior management can expect to be interviewed by the FSA to establish that they are fit and competent to undertake the role of an approved person. This can be a somewhat daunting experience which is why we have developed this training programme which will also include a stringent mock interview process.”
