Connells Survey & Valuation has revealed the extent of interest in Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) after delivering its 150,000th EPC to the market.
Ross Bowen, managing director at Connells Survey & Valuation, said EPCs are set to play a more significant role in future.
He added: “Despite the initial scepticism about the value of EPC reports, there is growing interest in them and the role that they could play in our drive to reduce emissions and help the environment. With the need to significantly drive down the emissions from our homes, growing political impetus and the need to reduce households’ utility bills, EPCs are set to play a more significant role in future.”
