Aldermore has launched a tool on its website that will help borrowers find mortgage brokers based in their local area.
The ‘broker locator’ tool will enable borrowers to search for details of all the brokers operating their area by typing in their postcode.
Each search will include the broker’s name, contact number and address of each firm.
Mark Stephens, group managing director at Aldermore, said: “This idea has been welcomed by brokers when we tested the concept. The system currently includes 6,000 registered brokers on our database and, for those who would like to be included in our broker locator, they need to register with us via our website.”
