Personal Touch offers British Friendly’s IP plan
Personal Touch has become the first network to offer British Friendly’s income protection product.

BFS Protect will be offered on Personal Touch’s protection panel through its appointed representative network members.

As previously reported, the product is the friendly society’s first venture into the IFA protection market.

Mark Myers, CEO at British Friendly, said: “Our new policy was based on feedback received from financial advisers during the development process and we fully appreciate the critical importance of good quality financial advice so we are very pleased to be working with Personal Touch as we continue to build support for our product.”

Dev Malle, sales and marketing director at Personal Touch, added that its members had highlighted increasing gaps in income protection plans which it hoped this addition would address as it does not discriminate on occupation, gender or smoking status.
