Sesame Bankhall Group is launching a legal services proposition designed to help advisers manage complex legal issues.

Sesame Bankhall Legal Services gives Sesame advisers a way to advise clients on how to keep their clients’ assets protected under the law, and a range of complex legal issues.

Advisers will be able to refer clients to a list of Sesame Bankhall approved legal specialists to carry out the required legal service.

Advisers will not need to complete additional qualifications to undertake the work, and can earn referral fees for a completed sale or purchase.

Conveyancing will be covered first, with further phased developments on all-round client wealth protection services.

From today advisers will have access to four UK conveyancing solicitor practices.

Other services to follow include will writing, trust deed production, probate, estate and trust administration, powers of attorney and the provision of other legal advice required by clients and their families.

Sesame said adviser firms will be able to refer cases via an automated process, with IFA and client access to a case handler and the ability to track the progress of cases online.

“This proposition is all about giving advisers the tools they need to provide quality advice to their clients and their clients’ families,” said Sesame Bankhall Group chief operating officer George Higginson.
