According to William Russell, records indicate a huge 36.1% fall in the number of claims submitted for conditions including lung cancer, heart disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

As the figures relate to primary smoking-related medical conditions, they certainly seem to emphasise the importance of these healthy living initiatives.”
The provider said the reduction was an encouraging indicator that efforts to promote stopping smoking globally could be proving worthwhile.
