Wareham was previously director of field operations for Countrywide Surveying Services and has over 30 years experience of the property and financial services industries. His work history includes senior management posts within Lloyds Banking Group, specifically at Colleys Surveyors and within the Halifax retail branch network.
Wareham said: “My new role is to lead the group’s surveying team, including Harvey Donaldson Gibson, Hamptons Professional and United Surveyors into the next phase of our Building our Future strategy.
“We will continue to put our corporate partners and third party customers at the heart of what we do and will support that by creating an environment that allows our people to provide the best possible service, not only for our clients but for each of our people as well.”
Countrywide is yet to appoint Wareham’s replacement.
Countrywide surveying services handles circa 30% of all residential mortgage valuations in the UK and in 2015 completed over 335,000 valuations and survey transactions, employing 440 qualified surveyors.
