Aldermore and Keystone make senior distribution appointments
Lenders Aldermore and Keystone Property Finance have each made appointments to their intermediary distribution teams.

Aldermore has appointed Nick Parker as head of intermediary distribution within its retail mortgage business.

Parker (pictured) joins from Bank of Ireland and will be responsible for relationships with all residential intermediaries and will represent Aldermore across the wider lending market.

He has more than 25 years’ experience working in financial services covering sales and operations and will be responsible for developing the field and telephone intermediary sales forces.

Parker spent the last two and a half years as a regional sales manager with Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries running a team of nine business development managers (BDMs).

Before that he held a number of roles in sales management for firms such as Mortgages Plc and Advantage, and various specialist roles within risk, control and governance for Lloyds, Barclays Wealth and the Financial Ombudsman Service.

He will begin his role in May.

Aldermore head of mortgages omnichannel Jon Cooper said: “We are very happy to welcome Nick to Aldermore as our new head of intermediary distribution.

“He brings to the role a lot of invaluable experience that complements the bank’s approach of nurturing a culture that puts intermediaries and customers at the heart of everything we do.”

“Nick will be a key part of the team as we continually seek to expand and improve our product propositions to reach an ever-greater number of customers with straightforward financial solutions for every stage of their life.”

Parker added that he was delighted to be joining the bank at this stage of its development.

“I hope to play an integral role as the bank looks to support more intermediaries and customers moving forward as we grow our mortgage business,” he said.

Keystone BDM appointment

Keystone Property Finance has increased its team with the appointment of Louise Roderick-Smith as a BDM covering the Midlands area.

Roderick-Smith will work alongside Keystone’s existing sales team of four external BDMs and three internal business support managers.

She has more than 15 years’ industry experience, most recently with Amicus, in several roles ranging from a broker, underwriter, and portfolio lending manager.

She also previously worked for Aldermore.

Roderick-Smith said: “I am looking forward to taking on this role at Keystone.

“I am used to dealing with complex cases and can’t wait to get out on the road using my experience to help brokers place their complex buy to let cases.”

Keystone sales and marketing director Phil Riches expected a positive impact with the brokers in the Midlands.

He added: “We are extremely pleased that Louise has agreed to join the Keystone team to help ensure we can service our ever-growing intermediary base.”
