He will replace Emma Wilkinson who has been promoted to field BDM for heartlands West.
Ebbrell first joined Skipton Building Society 10 years ago in the customer delivery team. He then moved to the operational support team where he helped to support brokers with any technical queries relating to the mutual’s Emortgages system.
During his time in this role, Ebbrell tested a number of Skipton Building Society’s launches including its automated income verification (AIV) system and its recent product transfer window extension for brokers.
Ebbrell said he was looking forward to getting to know brokers in his coverage area and creating new relationships.
He added: “I hope to do this whilst promoting all the great things about Skipton whilst also bringing along my knowledge of how things happen in the background to provide the excellent service that we do.
“My goal for the next 12 months is to have a firm understanding of what really matters to the brokers in my areas. I also want to want to share as much knowledge as I can with my colleagues around how the system works which will hopefully give them the tools to have better conversations with brokers and make their experience as easy going as they can.”
