Skipton integration rolled out to Twenty7tec users
Twenty7tec has rolled out the integration of Skipton Building Society into its Apply system for all of its users.

As a result, brokers will be able to submit both decisions in principle (DIPs) and full mortgage applications to the mutual through the platform. It is also designed to provide complete visibility of case updates and decisioning, so that brokers can track the progress of a case.

Twenty7tec said that the Apply system will streamline the research and application process, since it removes the need to rekey data and navigate multiple systems.

The full rollout follows a pilot period where the integration was tested with Connells Group, Primis and Mortgage Advice Bureau.

Skipton: ‘A positive step forward’

Nathan Reilly (pictured), director of lender relationships at Twenty7tec, said that the partnership would make a real difference to the way advisers submit mortgage business. He added: “Our data proves that a fully integrated journey across decision in principle and full mortgage application offers advisers the efficiency and time saving they’ve been looking for.”

Chris Wainwright, product owner of mortgages at Skipton Building Society, added that the mutual believed this partnership would support brokers by “creating efficiencies”.

He continued: “Creating broker ease and driving customer satisfaction is at the heart of our strategy and this is a real positive step forward in removing duplication of effort, speeding up the customer journey and sharing data efficiently through the mortgage value chain.”

The Skipton integration follows the launch of a pilot integration with Kensington Mortgages, while last month Nationwide Building Society went live on the Apply platform.
