Exclusive: Alexander Hall and Eligible partner to enhance adviser-client relationships
Mortgage adviser Alexander Hall Associates (AHA) and technology company Eligible have launched a new partnership, giving AHA access to software designed to support and nurture long-term relationships with clients.

Alexander Hall said the partnership is part of its commitment and strategy to create efficiency for advisers and enhance the experience of clients.

The Eligible.ai platform replaces the traditional ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to client communications, it said, by giving advisers the ability to personalise every interaction throughout the life of the product. The solution delivers automated communications, tailored to each client’s specific situation, including market news updates, product and educational content, and ‘end of mortgage deal’ notifications.

The system also enables clients to instantly notify their adviser that they would like to speak to them, via a firm-branded web-application.

Client reactions create touchpoints

The firm offers data cleansing as part of the service and said the system turns client reactions into several appropriate touchpoints saving time and educating both parties on needs before a conversation.

A raft of adviser firms already use the software, including Knight Frank, Largemortgageloans.com, Mortgages First and Trinity Financial, which boasts 73 to 88 per cent client read rates for sent emails.

Tom Davies, managing director at Alexander Hall, said: “We’ve been on a journey with the team at Eligible, seeing first-hand how its offering evolved to the final polished product that it is today. Quality advice and client engagement are core to the success of our business and we’re pleased to have enhanced that aspect of our proposition. Eligible will ensure that Alexander Hall clients feel informed and supported by their adviser, not just at the point of application, or toward of the end of their product term every few years, but throughout their entire journey as a mortgage customer.”

Less admin, more advice

Stephanie Daley, director of partnerships, Alexander Hall, said: “The tech solutions coming to maturity presently are geared to taking the administrative work away from advisers, freeing up more time for them to spend advising clients. Eligible does just that. Ongoing client contact will ensure clients and advisers alike will benefit from time-savings and preparedness for the advice journey, ultimately ensuring better outcomes for our clients. We’re really pleased to have commenced use of the platform, it’s going to be particularly beneficial in a time when advice on products and re-financing in particular, are so important.

Hassan said: “We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Alexander Hall and helping their advisers deliver regular, personal, and valued communications to every existing client. With the complexity of interest rate and product rate volatility and the potential slowdown in the purchase market – advisers have their hands full.”

“We welcome the opportunity to automate client engagement and giving advisers a real-time understanding of potential selling opportunities,” she added.
