Nottingham BS hires LiveMore’s Kingston as national sales manager
Nottingham Building Society has appointed Matt Kingston (pictured), formerly head of key accounts at LiveMore, as national sales manager for its intermediaries‘ business.

In his role, he will manage the business development manager (BDM) team, support brokers and lead key stakeholder relationships with mortgage clubs and networks.

Kingston worked at LiveMore for around three years, most recently as head of key accounts for around a year and prior to that was a regional sales manager for three years.

Before that, he worked at Clifton Mortgages as a mortgage, equity release and protection adviser for just under a year and before that worked as Legal and General as business manager.

He also worked at Bank of Ireland for just under five years in various customer manager roles.

Alison Pallett, Nottingham Building Society’s head of intermediary sales, said she was delighted to have Kingston join the team.

She continued: “Maintaining and growing relationships with our valued broker network is critical to our future success and Matt will play a key role in ensuring we do this.

“These are some of the most challenging times for borrowers and Matt will help us ensure that we are meeting their needs and those of the brokers who advise them.”

Kingston added: “I am proud to be joining a modern organisation which a rich heritage of helping people purchase their own homes. I look forward to advancing The Nottingham’s portfolio and continuing to cultivate meaningful relationships with intermediary partners.”

The mutual has been growing its team, hiring Anthony Murphy as its chief financial officer earlier this year and appointing Pallett as sales director.

The company has also hired Gareth Hagger-Johnson as director of data strategy and Paul Howley as its first ever chief technology and transformation officer.
