Doughty has worked in the estate agency, mortgage and financial services sectors for nearly 20 years. He has been with Spicerhaart and Just Mortgages for over 13 years, after joining as a mortgage consultant.
He was then hired into the brokerage’s new-build arm as a divisional sales manager and director for Wales and the west of England.
Doughty will continue to work in Just Mortgages new build arm, where broker numbers have tripled to 28 in four years.
He will take over from Tommy Taylor in his new role, who will remain as managing director within Spicerhaart.
Doughty will work closely with Taylor and fellow managing director Duncan Jones.
