L&C teams up with Brilliant Solutions to grow in specialist sector
Mortgage broker firm L&C has struck a partnership with specialist mortgage partnership with Brilliant Solutions to support customers and advisers through the latter’s fee-free packaging proposition and referral service.

The broker said that the partnership would offer “greater support to customers in the most complex scenarios” and it would also help advisers through the process to ensure the best client outcomes.

L&C recently struck a partnership with specialist comparison site Propp.io in September, which would allow the broker’s clients to receive advice and support when it comes to obtaining specialist finance, with a focus on commercial, bridging, second charge, and development finance.

In an interview with this publication, L&C CEO Alan Young and chairperson Phil Rickards said that specialist lending was likely to be a “growing need” for its customers and diversification was key.

Simon Hendy, chief relationship officer at L&C Mortgages, said: “The reputation of Brilliant Solutions is second to none and their proposition fits well with our ethos and our commitment to putting customer outcomes first.

“This partnership will ensure that we provide an even broader mortgage advice service at a time when customer needs are only likely to become more complex. Adding Brilliant’s expertise can only be a positive step for our advisers in delivering quality advice to our customers.”

Michael Craig, sales director at Brilliant Solutions, said: “The team at L&C Mortgages have identified a significant opportunity to help more clients with their mortgage needs, particularly in the specialist and complex mortgage arena.

“We are proud to help them deliver that, ensuring that they not only help more clients but that their clients get the best of everything that L&C advisers can bring, backed by our specialist skill set.”
