The nomination deadline for the Equity Release Awards has been extended to 12pm on 10 November, with a new form available for firms and individuals to highlight strong industry performance.
The extension has been given to allow more time for industry members to nominate firms due to a technical issue that temporarily impacted the nomination submissions form
To submit nominations, please follow this link: https://www.mortgagesolutions.co.uk/the-equity-release-awards-2024/
There are two nomination processes, one for provider categories and one for non-provider categories. The latter includes advisers, conveyancers, surveyors and business development managers.
For provider categories, companies will be nominated by a panel of over 50 adviser firms who submit their top five provider firms for each area. It is then judged by an industry panel which discusses the shortlist and testimonials to finalise the winners.
Regarding the non-provider categories, the industry nominates the companies or individuals that they think are worthy of recognition and then a shortlist is drawn up. This is then evaluated by the judging panel to finalise the winners.
The core principle of the nomination process is transparency and robustness, and the extension emphasizes these core principles.
