Pure Retirement expands intermediary sales team
Pure Retirement has appointed Gemma Brown and Sam Owen to its intermediary sales team.

Brown has been appointed business development manager (BDM) to oversee the South West and Wales regions.

She has eight years of experience in financial services and was previously a mortgage and equity release adviser at SN Financial Services.

Owen has been made telephone BDM and will also cover the South West and Wales regions.

He has worked at Pure Retirement since 2022 and has more than seven years of experience in financial services.

Previously, he worked as a customer account associate for Lowell Financial.

Scott Burman (pictured), head of distribution at Pure Retirement, said: “The delivery of best outcomes for consumers begins with offering market-leading support, and we’re proud to be enhancing our regional intermediary sales offering to ensure that advisers get that assistance to help find the right solutions for their clients.

“Our latest colleagues will bring a huge amount of insight and experience to the South West and Wales regions, working in partnership to provide advisers the best of both worlds through face-to-face and telephone BDM support, and we can’t wait to help our network going forward.”

Earlier this year, Pure Retirement became the first later life lender to join the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA).

It followed this with a return to high loan to value (LTV) lending, bringing the limit up to 50.5% LTV.
