Taken 3: the revenge of the broker

Great writer, hope to see you in full length print, more interesting than Fifty Shades, when are the FCA going to realise that estate agents given advice to buyers of the properties they are selling is a blatant conflict of interest… nothing any quality broker should fear here then!

Landlords slam ‘ineffective’ govt immigration check proposals

It is about time that the government started to control immigration and having indicated to the Prime Minister’s office that landlords were a major issue in this area, I am pleased that the government has acted.

Landlords are going to have to take more responsibility for the type of tenants they let to in the future. Hopefully it will cut immigration as they will have nowhere to live and reduce rents as well as property prices which are greatly overvalued in London and the South East of the UK.

This should help first time buyers as well help British youngsters find work once immigration is under control.

Taken 3: the revenge of the broker

Great write up Lea. I would say I’m surprised that things like this happen but to be honest, I’m not. Thought we were supposed to be ‘Treating Customers Fairly’? Great service will always be the deciding factor for clients and you have that in abundance. The client above saw through it, let’s hope more do the same.

Greenbelt building promises ‘world of broker opportunity’ – AMI

I am surprised AMI and Aldermore are getting involved with greenbelt issues. There is no need to build on greenbelt, which should be preserved at all costs.

There are ample brown field sites available and sites which have approval but not developed, the reason being that there is either no demand or that developers are holding out for green sites which are more profitable.

It would be better if these people stuck to commenting about mortgages rather than get involved in such highly contentious political issues.

Taken 3: the revenge of the broker

I know what you’re thinking, punk. You’re thinking “did my long standing client almost get grabbed by six estate agent mortgage brokers or only five?” Now to tell you the truth I forgot myself in all these piles of mortgage applications for houses have Japanese knotweed.

But this is a 2013 broker, the most resilient adviser in the world and will blow the estate agents clean off. You’ve gotta ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky?” Well, do ya, punk?
