Enterprise Group has made a number of appointments, with Peter Heigho joining as head of e-commerce, and Danny Waters promoted to managing director of Enterprise Finance.

Heigho, the designer and founder of the Trigold and the Key software systems, is tasked with developing the firm’s back-end processing systems, as well as overseeing the ongoing integration of EDGEv2 with a number of third-party systems.

Waters takes up his post on 1 August, and will take over the day-to-day running of Enterprise Finance from Paul Rose, the current managing director, who has been appointed a main board director at the group.

Waters, who was previously operations director, is charged with leading the master broker arm of the Enterprise Group and adapting it to the current market conditions.

Thinc Group

David Young has been appointed head of group compliance at the Thinc Group.

Young has more than 30 years’ experience in compliance and corporate governance, having been the principal and director of the Young Company since 1996.

He has served on the board of a life assurance company, as well as holding the post of director of compliance for a number of financial institutions.

Young will be tasked with using his specialist knowledge and experience to guide the Thinc Group’s compliance operation and the group as a whole.

Scarborough Building Society

Scarborough Building Society has promoted Robin Litten to the post of chief executive, replacing John Carrier who retires from the post at the end of the year.

Litten is currently the society’s finance director, a position he has held since joining the mutual in 2002.

Prior to that, he held the post of finance director at Barclays Private Banking, and had a spell as deputy finance director of Barclaycard.

He has also held financial and general management positions at Sears plc.

Litten will be charged with leading the diverse financial institutions within the Scarborough Group. n
