Industry insiders have launched Cirrus ICT, a new technology company designed to bring communications and technology infrastructure to mid-sized and large-sized financial intermediary firms.
The infrastructure will be provided on a pay-as-you-go basis. Disaster recovery, security and the ability to host any intermediary software have been built in.
Michael Schaefer, managing director at Cirrus ICT and a former director at Chase De Vere Mortgage Management, said: “In addition to savings of up to 40% against traditional technology solutions, our new way of doing things addresses all the technology issues faced by financial intermediaries today.”
Simon Tyler, non-executive chairman at Cirrus ICT, said “Having experienced the benefits of Michael’s totally managed solution at Chase where we made major cost savings whilst upgrading our technology infrastructure, I naturally wanted to be involved in Cirrus.”
