MPowered Mortgages opens prime resi range to all brokers
Fintech mortgage lender MPowered Mortgages has made its prime residential range available to all brokers, networks and clubs nationwide.

The lender launched into the residential market last year in April and had limited access to select brokers and distributors.

As of today all regulated advisers in the UK can access the full suite of residential products.

Mortgage clubs with access to the range include Legal & General, SimplyBiz, Dynamo, Connect, Ingard, Finova, Brilliant Solutions, TMA Club, The Money Group, TMA Club, John Charcol, Mortgage Force, Sense Network, Sesame Network and PMS Mortgage Club.

Rates start from 4.13 per cent, with two, three, five and 10-year fixed rates available.

There are also fee-free, £999 fee and £1,999 fee options available, along with free valuations and £500 cashback options for remortgages.

The lender said that it had reduced rates 10 times and by up to 1.5 per cent since the mini Budget, launched a cashback range, brought out 85 per cent LTV deals and fee-free options.

MPowered Mortgages has also had around £10m invested in the business by firms like Barclays, Citygroup’s Sprint and M&G Investments and said that not only would it look to expand its range to respond to the needs of borrowers but would seek further investors continue innovation.

Stuart Cheetham, CEO of MPowered Mortgages, said: “In 2022, we launched our prime residential offering with the aim to deliver great consumers outcomes, exclusively through an advised broker journey. Not only will these customers benefit from our expansive product range, but also our technology-powered platform which is aimed at speeding up the mortgage process for borrowers and brokers.”

He continued that the firm was delivering new levels of service level agreements with brokers, such as getting an agreement in principle completed in three minutes and keying in an entire application in less than 10 minutes.

“In 2023, we will look to deliver a real-time full contractual mortgage offer – this means when a broker submits a case, this can be offered instantly through our proprietary technology.

“The progress we have made since launching our prime business is thanks to our fantastic team at MPowered Mortgages and our investor backers,” Cheetham added.

He continued that it had delivered the above in “volatile market conditions” which showed its business resilience and it looked forward to grow its reach in the prime residential market.
