She starts with immediate effect and will report to Amy Wilson, head of general insurance and PMI.
Sandhu joins from SimplyBiz Compliance Services, where she worked as a business development manager for four years and had the responsibility of recruiting independent financial advisers, mortgage and protection, and protection-only firms to become directly authorised.
She also held a business development position at Vitality for 10 years. At Vitality, she worked with adviser firms and provided training on life insurance, PMI and investment products.
At The Right Mortgage Network, Sandhu will be tasked with working with member firms to help them get into the PMI sector and will supervise activity carried out by advisers.
She joins as the company aims to expand its PMI specialist team to support advisers entering the sector and help them identify opportunities.
The Right Mortgage Network is also holding a PMI summit on 5 July at the Nuthurst Grange Country House Hotel in Solihull, for advisers already in the sector as well as those thinking of joining.
Wilson said the firm was “pleased” to welcome Sandhu to the newly created role, to fully focus on PMI and opportunities in the sector.
She added: “She brings with her a wealth of experience from all areas of financial services, with insight and expertise in a whole host of products, as well as in crucial areas such as training, business development and supervision. Bipin is going to be a real asset to the business and she is looking forward to engaging with advisers to help them develop their PMI propositions.”
