SimplyBiz appoints Lovell and Armstrong to its compliance team

SimplyBiz has announced that Simon Lovell and Kris Armstrong will join its compliance team, to strengthen the support available to its member firms around regulatory policy and mortgage compliance.

Lovell has a wealth of experience in the industry will be supporting advisers with compliance, working closely with the SimplyBiz mortgages team, and will represent the compliance team at mortgage events around the country.

Previously. Lovell  performed supervisory roles with Pink Home Loans / PRIMIS Mortgage Network, and had a field compliance role within TMA, where he developed compliance propositions and provided support and guidance to directly authorised firms.

Kris Armstrong also recently joined SimplyBiz in the role of compliance policy manager.

He has worked in the sector for fifteen years and previously held positions as branch manager at Lloyds Bank; paraplanner at independent mortgage adviser Lycetts;  and was an IFA at WPS Advisory.

Armstrong will be a key part of the policy team, where he will analyse the latest output from the regulator, and communicate all action points to member firms and what any regulation changes mean for advisers.
