Nationwide BS partners with Acre
Nationwide Building Society has teamed up with Acre so brokers will be able to get one-click decision in principle (DIP) applications with the mutual through the platform.

Any Acre broker will be able to “connect seamlessly” with Nationwide though its application programming interfaces (APIs), which it says will save up to 45 minutes per case.

The platform’s “faster, more accurate fact-find” brings together publicly available credit and property data with customer information and unique verification capabilities.

This will mean that residential cases can be submitted electronically with Nationwide in one click.

The partnership will also mean that Acre and Nationwide can work together to launch features such as full mortgage application submission, document upload and case tracking all via APIs to “support greater client experiences and faster case applications”.

Justus Brown, Acre founder and CEO, said: “We are constantly evolving the platform’s tech to help brokers work smarter and faster to deliver better outcomes for clients.

“Nationwide is one of the UK’s leading lenders and we are excited to not just integrate them into Acre, but also work with them in partnership to make the task of finding and securing the best product less time-consuming and have mortgages agreed at the click of a button.”

Andy Tilsley, intermediary digital relationships lead at Nationwide Building Society, said: “New tech integrations, like this one with Acre, make it easier for brokers to do business with us and improve the service overall.

“Acre’s proposition means brokers are assured they have all the right information in one place to ensure a smoother mortgage process with us and get to a decision in principle quicker than ever before.”

Acre recently partnered with Paradigm, The Right Mortgage and Brilliant Solutions.

In an interview with this publication last year, Brown said that the company was looking to win new brokers and build on existing relationships so the company can grow its market share.
