The firm said that while some of their Oxford-based staff will be unable to make the crossover to its parent company offices in Kent, it has started the recruitment process to fill those roles.
Mark Blackwell, managing director of Xit2, said: “With a big change like this, there will be some people who won’t be able to move from Oxford for personal reasons so we are actively recruiting people to take up roles down in Kent, where Decision Insight Information Group’s (DIIG) headquarters are.”
Xit2 was acquired by DIIG in January 2011.
Blackwell confirmed that four employees have already been hired in its customer support team.
“The next stage is to further invest in beefing up our IT and strengthening our customer service support.
He added that the firm is being as pragmatic as it can, following the transfer of operations.
“We’re leaving the door open to our Oxford-staff members over the next two months, so they can decide whether they want to make the move down to Kent or not.”
Blackwell said the move to Kent will enable Xit2 to build up its IT infrastructure, which it’s unable to do in Oxford.
Centralised functions including business and HR have already moved across to the offices in Kent, with IT set to join in November.
