However, while most change can be good, on occasions something comes along which is somewhat more unexpected and even more challenging. But whatever we face, over all the years I have been involved in this industry, we are prepared to tackle these challenges head-on, together, and in a positive way.
For me, my unexpected challenge came at the end of last year when my wife, Di, sadly passed away shortly after being diagnosed with a heart condition.
Naturally, it felt like my world had just collapsed, but since that day I have been amazed by the number of messages of goodwill and support from across the industry and have gained strength and positivity from them as I begin to think of a new and bright future with my two daughters.
Thank you to each and every one of you who have been in contact, for all your support and help. I will always be truly grateful, and I am very proud to know some fantastic people.
As we move through 2019, we will face more challenges, but I look forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with you, my friends, facing these challenges head-on, so that we continue to build a better mortgage market for anyone that needs our help in the future.
