He will continue his role as strategic partnership director at Pivotal Growth, where he leverages his expertise to “foster collaborations and drive innovation in financial services”. Pivotal Growth bought First2protect from LSL last year.
In his role at First2protect, he will oversee the development of executing strategies to “identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships, and drive revenue growth”.
Coulton has worked at Pivotal Growth since the start of the year, and before that, he worked at Paymentshield for around four years, initially as national account manager and strategic partnerships manager.
Prior to that, he worked at Source Insurance for around 12 years, initially as a business development manager (BDM), then as national sales manager and head of sales and distribution.
Before that, he was at Paymentshield for around five years in various roles, including life insurwriting officer, customer service specialist, claims specialist and BDM.

The company has been growing its team in recent months with the addition of 11 insurance advisers and the appointment of Lee Denton as head of business development.
