Pepper Money appoints Green as retail director
Specialist lender Pepper Money has hired Sarah Green (pictured) as its retail director, with a remit to expand its second charge proposition.

In her role, she will focus on growing the lender’s second charge mortgage proposition, develop their digital capability and improving its direct to consumer strategy to complement its intermediary proposition.

Green previously worked at Virgin Money for around six years, most recently as director of customer acquisition. Other roles she has held include director of mortgage distribution and general insurance and director of intermediary sales.

She left the firm in 2021 and has been running her own consultancy, Green Day Consultancy.

Prior to Virgin Money, she was sales and marketing director at Kensington Mortgages for around a year and before that worked at Barclays for over seven years as director of national accounts and senior mortgage propositions manager.

Laurence Morey, Pepper Money’ CEO, said: “I’m very pleased to welcome Sarah to the Pepper Money team. She brings a huge amount of experience, having previously held prominent leadership roles across the industry.

“We are committed to growing our lending for both first and second charge mortgages and Sarah will play a crucial role in helping to develop our strategy.”

Sarah Green, Pepper Money’s retail director, added: “Pepper Money is an established and well-respected brand in the second charge mortgage market, with a reputation for excellent service and a market leading second charge proposition.

“I am looking forward to building on these strong foundations to grow our lending and offer customers more choice to help them access the finance they need to achieve their goals.”
