Noora IsmailThe lifetime mortgage lender, Pure Retirement, has hired Rebecca Sumner to its telephone business development manager (BDM) team.
Sumner joins Pure Retirement with 17 years of financial services experience, with 14 of those years at Cavendish Equity release where she became a CeRER qualified adviser. She will be responsible for supporting Central and East region advisers.
Her appointment follows the recently hired Gary Dalton currently working as a field BDM for the North with over two decades of experience within financial services.
Sumner said: “I’m excited to join a company that offers such amazing service through the product’s lifetime, from the brokers at the start to the client at completion. I aim to use my experience as an adviser to help the brokers in my area and facilitate strong relationships between advisers and lender.”
Scott Burman (pictured), head of distribution at Pure Retirement, said: “It’s no secret that we’re all living in an incredibly changeable world now, and that it’s more important than ever for later life consumers to be finding the right financial solution for their needs.
“This will undoubtedly be driven by great service from knowledgeable support being offered to advisers by lenders, and to this end, we’re thrilled to have added two such experienced and talented individuals to our team to truly enhance our offering.
