Abbi will support intermediaries in the region for “cases that fall outside the mould of the high street” such as adverse credit, credit score or complicated income structure.
He most recently as a business development manager (BDM) for over five years, and before that was mortgage services manager for nearly two years.
Prior to that, he was a executive mortgage consultant for nearly two years at Countrywide Mortgage Services. He has also held roles at Metro Bank and Barclays.
Ryan Brailsford, director of business development at Pepper Money, said that in the current environment it was “more important than ever for brokers to work closely with BDMs to understand which lenders are best placed to meet the needs of their customers”.
He continued: “More and more customers are falling outside of the strict criteria of mainstream lenders due to their income structure, affordability or credit profile, but there are excellent options with specialist lenders like Pepper Money.
